Beni Ourain carpets are woven by our artisans in the high atlas mountain from undyed natural wool and traditionally decorated with checkered designs. These magnificent Moroccan rugs have the fascinating ability to connect the long history of the nomadic Berber tribes with modern-day interiors.     This was my first high quality rug purchase and couldn’t have asked for a better experience- Amir was very helpful and responsive, and even offered to make my rug in the color I requested for no additional charge. It was packed very well and shipping was efficient from Morocco to NYC. I would recommend that if you need this rug for a special occasion, plan well in advance! These are handmade with care and it shows, and therefore is a lengthy process. Nevertheless, I would (and hope to) purchase from AfriKesh again in the future!
