This beautiful and wonderful artistic berber Black and white wool checkered rug is hand-woven by Berber women in the Atlas mountains, using techniques that are being passed from generation to generation. Every rug is the unique and complete imagination of the weaver artisan. This Berber rug is from Ben Ourain tribe. The women make use of undyed natural wool to decorate rugs with traditional geometrical designs. We were quoted 7-8 weeks for production but received it early, to my surprise!

      I’ll start off by saying be prepared to be patient. This rug is handmade so the time it takes from order to delivery can take some time. Mine was a little over two months. When the rug arrived the first thing I noticed was how well wrapped it was. I felt very good about it making it safely across the globe! As I unpacked it and saw the quality I was very impressed. It’s so fluffy and softer than I expected. as impatient I was to wait it was definitely worth it. I would order from him again.
